By accessing or using the Reptile Udharibook application (“App”), you (“User”, “You”) agree to be bound by
this
Privacy Policy and the associated Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the
App.
Reptile Udharibook is an expense tracker and digital ledger application designed to help users record
expenses,
income, payments, and outstanding balances. This Privacy Policy explains how Carecone Technologies Private
Limited
(“Company”, “We”, “Us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information in relation to the App’s core
expense-tracking features.
1. Data Collected
1.1 Personal Identification Information
We collect only the minimum information required for account creation and core functionality:
- Name – Business owner or user name
- Phone Number – Used only for login authentication via OTP
- Device Platform Type – Android or iOS (for compatibility and optimization)
- Firebase Device Token – To send important app notifications (such as backup status or subscription
updates)
We do NOT collect:
- Email address
- IMEI, serial number, or hardware identifiers
- Personal contact lists
- Precise location data
1.2 Expense & Business Information (User-Entered)
To support the core expense tracker and ledger features, the App stores information entered by you,
including:
- Business name and optional address
- Business logo or payment QR code (optional)
- Customer names and phone numbers (added manually by you)
- Expense and income records
- Payment dates, amounts, and balances
- Ledger entries and notes
Note: All data is entered, managed, and controlled by you. The Company does not verify or validate
the
accuracy of this information.
1.3 Non-Personal & Usage Information
We may collect limited technical information:
- App version and device platform
- Crash logs and error reports
- App usage analytics (via Google Analytics for Firebase)
- Subscription and in-app purchase status
Purpose: App stability, performance improvements, and user experience enhancement.
2. Use of Information
- Enable expense tracking, ledger management, and payment records
- Generate summaries and reports
- Send transaction confirmations (if enabled by you)
- Provide customer support
- Notify you of important updates or policy changes
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or business data.
3. Data Sharing
3.1 Third-Party Services
We share limited data only with trusted providers necessary for app functionality:
- Firebase (Google): Authentication, notifications, analytics, crash reports
- Google Drive (Optional): Backup storage (only if enabled by you)
- Cashfree: Subscription payment processing
- Google Mobile Ads: Ad display
- Facebook Analytics: Usage analytics
All providers are governed by their own privacy policies.
3.2 Legal Obligations
Data may be disclosed if required by law, court order, or to prevent fraud or misuse.
3.3 We Never:
- Sell user data
- Share customer phone numbers for marketing
- Allow third parties to contact your customers
4. SMS Permission & Expense Tracker Features
4.1 SEND_SMS Permission (Optional Core Feature)
- The App offers an optional core expense-tracker feature that allows users to send transaction
confirmation SMS to customers
- This feature is disabled by default
- It can be enabled manually from the Side Menu → Settings → SMS Notifications
- The main expense-tracking features work without SMS permission
4.2 SMS Usage Types
A. Automatic Transaction Alerts (Optional)
- Sent only when you record a transaction
- Contains store name, paid amount, and due balance
- One SMS per transaction
- Can be turned OFF anytime from in-app settings
B. Manual SMS Reminders
- Opens the phone’s default SMS app
- User manually sends the message
- Does not require SEND_SMS permission
4.3 READ_PHONE_STATE Permission (Optional)
Used only to select the correct SIM on dual-SIM devices for sending SMS.
It does not access call logs, contacts, or phone history.
4.4 What the App Does NOT Do
- Read incoming SMS
- Monitor SMS inbox in background
- Send promotional or marketing SMS
- Access contacts or call logs
- Act as default SMS or phone app
4.5 User Consent
Before enabling SMS features, users are shown a clear in-app explanation and must explicitly grant
permission.
SMS charges depend on the user’s mobile carrier plan.
5. Financial SMS Information (Clarified & Compliant)
- The App does not read, store, or upload personal SMS messages from your inbox
- Transaction-related SMS headers may be processed locally only if enabled by the user
- No personal messages are read
- No SMS content is shared externally
- No background monitoring occurs
- This feature is optional and disabled by default
- Data remains under user control
This functionality is intended solely to improve expense categorization and cash-flow visibility,
not for credit scoring or risk profiling.
6. Data Security
- Encrypted storage where applicable
- Restricted access to user data
- Regular security updates
No digital system is 100% secure. Users are responsible for securing their own devices.
7. User Rights
- Access and review your data
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request account deletion
- Disable SMS features anytime

8. Data Retention
Data is retained while your account is active. Inactive accounts may be deleted after
30 days of subscription expiry.
9. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for users 18 years and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
